Trip to the Classic Boat Musuem
Today Year 1 went to the boat museum in East Cowes as part of our History Topic. We have been learning about the titanic and how its maiden journey across the Atlantic soon ended in disaster. At the museum we were all really interested to see different boats and how they have changed through the ages. The boat that was designed to be ejected from a plane in case of emergencies was of particular interest! We also had a workshop with Estelle who told us about key individuals that sailed on the Titanic and we got to see objects they would have used and worn. It was a great trip and we are looking forward to continuing our learning about the titanic over the next few weeks.
