Big Phonics - I can recognise the reception sounds and write the corresponding grapheme.

This week we have been recapping all the sounds from the reception Song of Sounds. Today we played some games to practise writing the grapheme that goes with each sound.

English - I can draw a story plan

 As part of our work focussed around The Three Little Pigs, the children in year 1 drew the story plan of the story.  We started off by retelling the story and then going through the key 6 points from the story. The children then drew those key 6 points and coloured them in.  Have a look at some of our fantastic pieces of work.
