Big Phonics - Revision of reception tricky words

 This week, year 1 have been revising the tricky words they learned when they were in reception. They did a fun word search of the tricky words as an independent task and they did a game of splat the tricky words, where a tricky word was called out and the first person to slap the word with a fly swatted is the winner.

 As part of our work focussed around The Three Little Pigs, the children in year 1 drew the story plan of the story.  We started off by retelling the story and then going through the key 6 points from the story. The children then drew those key 6 points and coloured them in.  Have a look at some of our fantastic pieces of work.
