Maths - I can sort objects

 Today we looked at different objects and thought about how we can sort and group them. Some objects we could sort by colour, by size or by shape. Children then worked in pairs to sort the counters. Some sorted them by colour and some sorted them by size.

 We were very excited to come in this morning and find the classroom had been decorated over night! We are loving the Christmas tree and all the lights. English - I can draw a story plan

 As part of our work focussed around The Three Little Pigs, the children in year 1 drew the story plan of the story.  We started off by retelling the story and then going through the key 6 points from the story. The children then drew those key 6 points and coloured them in.  Have a look at some of our fantastic pieces of work.
