English - Learning the story ‘The Three Little Pigs’ off by heart.

Today we started our new text in English ‘The Three Little Pigs.’ We learnt the story and as a class came up with actions. We practised acting out the story and using expression - we were very good at scary wolf voices and shy pig voices! 

We then worked in groups and used the story spoons or stones to practise acting the story.

 As part of our work focussed around The Three Little Pigs, the children in year 1 drew the story plan of the story.  We started off by retelling the story and then going through the key 6 points from the story. The children then drew those key 6 points and coloured them in.  Have a look at some of our fantastic pieces of work.
