English - Postcards collected by the Postman

Over the last couple of weeks we have been very busy writing and making our postcards in English. We pretended to be the penguin, Niugnep, and wrote postcards home to the South Pole. Children worked hard to write in proper sentences and include correct punctuation. 

Today was very exciting as a postman came into school to collect our postcards so they can begin the long journey to the Antarctic.

 As part of our work focussed around The Three Little Pigs, the children in year 1 drew the story plan of the story.  We started off by retelling the story and then going through the key 6 points from the story.
