Visit - Sue the Storyteller

This afternoon we had a special visit from ‘Sue the storyteller.’ 

Sue told us a story about a girl called Sally that liked collecting shells. She wanted to know what a limpet looked like and pulled one of a rock but then Sally got the limpet stuck on her finger! Sally then went home and everyone in her family tried to pull it off but it just got stuck on tighter! The next day Sally had to go to school with it still stuck on her finger. 

The children loved listening to this story and all joined in with making the sucking noises of the limpet sucking on to Sally’s finger! Maybe your child can show you the sound and maybe they can retell the story to you and tell you what happened at the end.

Sue then told us the story of the Three Billy Goats. The children helped to tell this story by coming up with words to describe the troll. They then joined in with the parts of the story.
