World Book Day 2023

We have had a brilliant day for World Book Day! It was lovely to see everyone’s costumes and we had an assembly first thing this morning to look at everyone’s costumes in key stage 1. 

We had some different activities today including design and making bookmarks, designing book covers and drawing pictures of our costumes.

English - I can draw a story plan

 As part of our work focussed around The Three Little Pigs, the children in year 1 drew the story plan of the story.  We started off by retelling the story and then going through the key 6 points from the story. The children then drew those key 6 points and coloured them in.  Have a look at some of our fantastic pieces of work.
