Big Phonics - Vowels and consonants

Today in big phonics we looked at vowels and consonants. We learnt that a, e, i, o, u are all vowels and the other letters are consonants.

We played lots of games to consolidate our learning. We had to find letters in the sensory trays and then put them in the correct hoop. We made vowels and consonants out of play dough and we cut out letters from magazines and worked out if they were vowels or consonants.
